What is FBLA?

Founded in 1940, Future Business Leaders of America is the oldest and largest national organization for students preparing for careers in business. FBLA prepares students for “real world” professional experiences. Members gain the competitive edge for college and career successes. More than a quarter of a million students participate in this dynamic leadership organization.

Pinnacle established its FBLA chapter in conjunction with its 4-year Graphic/Web Design program in the fall of 2016. Pinnacle has earned great success since the inception of its FBLA chapter, regularly placing and taking top honors at Regional, State and National leadership conferences.

FBLA provides students with: travel opportunities, challenging competitions, scholarships and prizes, leadership development, community service experience, and friendship and fun.

FBLA takes students to major cities throughout the United States such as Anaheim, Baltimore, Salt Lake City and San Antonio. Students get to know people in Arizona and across the nation at exciting leadership conferences. Members have the opportunity to compete for awards and recognition on the local, state, and national levels in more than 70 different event categories including website design, e-business, graphic design, mobile app development, public service announcement, animation and many more!

Fall Leadership Conference: One-day conference held annually in November in downtown
Phoenix Regional Leadership Conference: One-day conference held annually in January at ASU's Polytechnic campus in Mesa
State Leadership Conference: Three-day conference held annually in April at the Westin La Paloma resort in Tucson
National Leadership Conference: Week-long conference held annually at the end of June into July; 2019 - San Antonio, Texas; 2020 - Salt Lake City, Utah; 2021 - Anaheim, California
